great films that go great together. Here's what we had to say about each
of
them:
- It's a rare and wonderful treat to see a porn film
that applies a real artistry to its subject, and this elegantly perverse
lesbian SM video is most definitely one of those rare treats. An
exquisitely-made black-and-white movie, The Black Glove has
the feel of a 1920's German art film, with a rich, shadowy, carefully
crafted look and a slow, seductive pace. But don't be misled by all this
high-falutin' artsy talk; there's lots of gorgeous kink to get you off,
with bondage, gags, cunt and nipple torture, boot worship, and a hot wax
scene that left us with our mouths hanging open in awe. (We won't tell
you where the wax goes -- you have to find out for yourself.)
- Elegant is definitely the word for the spankings in this
graceful, genteel, exquisitely crafted gem of a movie. The scene is a
simple and classic one -- the punishment of a submissive housemaid by her
mistress -- but this arty, classy, black-and-white movie is anything but
ordinary. Its perversities, which range from spankings and strappings to
foot fetishism and piss play, are beautifully choreographed and
skillfully framed, giving it a look that is lovely and haunting and
intensely
arousing.

Bondage Boob Tube was named Hottest Kink Film at the
Feminist Porn Awards, and it's easy to see why. It's a delightfully
surreal and sexy flick that begins with Jewell Marceau watching a 1950s
TV series and lamenting the utter lack of sex therein. Soon she's
transported into the TV show -- dressed in a period polka-dot dress, no
less -- where she finds out things aren't quite as straitlaced as they
seem. For one thing, the lamp in the living room is actually Madison
Young in bondage with a lampshade on her head, and Jewell does her best
to turn that lamp on. When Bridgett Harrington, a native of the TV
world, bursts in, she's appalled at the action, and she and Jewell have
a spirited debate about whether bondage is more suited to function or
fun. Meanwhile, Chanta Rose and Satine Phoenix get together for a polite
social tea, which soon moves into the realm of rope bondage and vintage
'50s underwear! Soon Satine is all tied up, and Chanta gets to work on
her with a (thankfully anachronistic) vibrator. We return to Jewell and
Madison, who've taken their fun outside, where Madison is pressed into
service as a human clothesline, suspended sideways in a net of ropes.
It's not long before the clothespins come out, of course. Madison is hit
with a riding crop, doused with cold water, and generally abused for
Jewell's amusement.... but comeuppance always comes. Bridgett arrives and
takes charge of Jewell, wrapping her in ropes and chastising her
verbally and otherwise, at one point making her into a living watering
can. By the end of the film, Madison is transformed into a human
footstool, Jewell is made into a living TV stand-cum-drink holder, and
all is right with the world. This is weird, whimsical, smart BDSM,
highly
recommended.

Really, what could be bad about a video that combines hot queer (mostly

The plot is... oh, c'mon. Well, OK, we'll try: The plot is
roughly that an evil (or at least, very wicked) inventor designs a

This is a noble calling, I'm sure you'll
agree.
It's an absolute hoot, makes the most of its modest production
budget, and the sex is very, very hot. It certainly wins the award for
"Best Use of a Condom and a Pepper Mill." A snippet of cute queer guy
flirting (doesn't really get all the way to sex, we must report), lots
of really cute dykes having a wonderful time with each other, and a
massively multi-way queer SM orgy scene at the end. We're so there.

Goth lesbian vampire perverts -- what could be bad? Filmed with a
shadowy, lushly detailed black-and-white look reminiscent of 1930s art
films, Ladies of the Night has exquisite lighting and
camerawork, excellent creepy music, and a tantalizing pace with a slow,
seductive build-up. An innocent young woman is kidnapped from a deserted
street and carried off to a spooky mansion, where she is stripped,
bound, and forced/seduced (it's so hard to tell the difference
sometimes) into all manner of delights and torments (again, so hard to
tell the difference sometimes!) by her lovely and unearthly fetish-clad
captors. Said torments/delights include foot worship, flogging,
cropping, paddling and nipple torture. The performers are gorgeous, with
a striking look that's not your standard porn-star glitz but definitely
not a girl-next-door thing, either. Beautiful and imaginative toys, too,
some of which we've never seen the likes of
before.

Lascivious Liaisons

Lascivious Liaisons is a classy, glossy film featuring
beautiful women in stunning lingerie, slow-motion effects and some
soft-focus camera work, no vocal track, and a classical-sounding score,
all hallmarks of a "couples" movie. The twist here is that all the
scenes have some element of BDSM, mostly of a very gentle sort -- though
the BDSM doesn't look fake, as it does in many films, but like the sort
of playful experimentation lovers would use to spice things up in the
bedroom.
The cool, blonde, and lovely Jana Cova is the heart of the film,
appearing in most of the scenes, but her supporting cast is all
top-notch too. It's hard to choose a favorite from among the seven
scenes, as all have something impressive to offer, but highlights
include Lela Starr in a maid's outfit being chastised by Erik Everhard,
and the adorable Kinzie Kenner in a relatively straightforward but fun
scene with Jean Val Jean. Of the girl-girl scenes, the best has Jana
Cova tying Charlie Laine and Karlie Montana together back-to-back and
teasing them orally with a strap-on for a while, finally releasing them
for more hardcore fun. The scene with Jana and Holly Morgan starts
strongly, with Jana wielding a long whip (used mostly for oral play and
masturbation with the handle; this isn't the kind of movie with actual
whipping), but it sort of trailed off and ended a bit abruptly. The most
elegantly-shot moment of the film comes in the final scene, with the
incredibly cute Daisy Marie dressed in stockings and white lingerie,
stretched out over the knee of the black-clad Jana Cova, who spanks
Daisy's perfect ass with a paddle for a nice long while. It's a
beautiful moment captured beautifully.
With a running time approaching three hours, there's plenty to love
here, and there are lots of extras, too. It's a wonderful choice for

McKenzie Loves Pain is hot, but way too short. It doesn't
really have a plot, but it does have a situation: busty British hottie
McKenzie Lee goes to veteran Nina Hartley to learn how to become a
dominatrix. Despite the title, McKenzie doesn't love pain, though she
seems to enjoy inflicting it. The bondage and costuming here are very
good -- the film is directed by Hartley's husband Ernest Greene, and the
two of them know their BDSM. There are four scenes: In the first,
Hartley and McKenzie (wearing a hot black corset) dominate Justine Joli,
who plays the sub beautifully, whimpering and eager to please as she's
whipped, cropped, and fucked with a strap-on. In the second scene
Adrianna Nicole torments Justine Joli for information about McKenzie,
alternating between using a Hitachi magic wand (the carrot) and a zappy
violet wand (the stick). In the next scene, McKenzie punishes Adrianna
for her misbehavior, with tight rope bondage and lots and lots of nipple
clamps. Best of all, Adrianna gets fitted with a red strap-on and tied
down on her back so McKenzie can ride her dildo, and later Adrianna gets
a butt plug shoved in her ass to further drive the lesson home. In the
final scene McKenzie takes on her first male client, Tom Byron,

The movie is hot, and the bondage is good, but it's far too short --
four relatively brief scenes, and it's all over in an hour. The extras

has an elegant look and a slow, patient pace, creating a series of

mind for some time. Shot in muted, sepia-tone shades, with the feel of
an old silent art film or a vintage French postcard come to life, the
production quality is lovely and excellent. The Seven Deadly
Sins is rather more sensual and sexual than some of Maria
Beatty's other movies (it even includes a bit of finger-fucking), and
the play is a bit less extreme as well -- but don't worry, that just
means there's no knives or enemas or fire. It does have bondage, foot
worship, spanking, flogging, nipple torment (including some very cool
clamps that we'd love to get our hands on), pussy punishment, and a bit

Sex Mannequin is aptly named. Dylan Ryan takes a freight elevator up to

London are intercut with scenes of Dylan and the mannequin, which is
annoying -- it's much nicer to see warm flesh-on-flesh than to see Dylan
licking a life-sized wooden doll. When the women are on screen together,
they're both lovely, though they take a while to get going. The usual
trappings of BDSM are mostly absent -- no whips, no chains, only the
occasional riding crop -- but there's definitely a domination/submission
thing going on here, with Dylan firmly in the top role. London is
spanked and cropped for a while before Dylan turns to more tender
ministrations. Eventually she ties London -- fetchingly dressed in
skimpy white things -- to a post, then caresses and fingers her. The
film is only really hot in the last few minutes, when Dylan starts
fucking London with her whole hand. Before that, it's mostly a lot of
beautiful posing, slow kisses, and light spanking, all of which are fine
in moderation, but which become a bit dull here. It's a pretty movie,

Tail of a Bondage Model is a an extraordinary film by,

goes back to work, and we're treated to long lingering shots of her

implements. Because this is a glimpse into a life story in progress,
there's no neat resolution, no simple emotional wrap-up -- just an
