scenes too. This is good for straight women looking for some familiar

director and former fashion photographer. As always, the people are
absolutely stunning, and the cinematography is glossy and elegant. This
claims to be the first in a series, the Sleepless Nights Collection.
This one centers on Selena and Laura Palmer, who receive a magic pendant
that brings out their deepest
fantasies.
Highly recommended to anyone who has enjoyed Blake's®
previous work. He also seems to be getting a bit more erotic and
raunchy, which is (in this Blowfishie's opinion) a good thing. This one
includes some of our favorite actresses, including Asia Carrera. Winner

Brea's Crowning Glory

Brea's Crowning Glory is directed by Laurent Sky, and it
comes with all his hallmarks: weird sets, strange outfits, quick cuts,
flashy camera tricks, and, as always, women rotating on hidden
turntables. (Perhaps the last is the director's particular tiny niche
fetish?) The film also has his usual wonderful eye for creating hot
hardcore scenes, though — love or hate Sky's style, he knows how to
shoot a couple (or threesome, or moresome) screwing beautifully. The
gorgeous Brea Bennett — a headliner by virtue of this being her first
boy-girl feature — is up first, dressed in a deliciously skimpy outfit
(and an odd belt with an electronic buckle that has the word "Sexy"
scrolling across it), giving a fantastic blowjob and bending over for
top-notch fucking. Tiffany Rayne is up next, on her knees in a grungy
gym where a boxer and his cigar-smoking coach take turns fucking her
mouth and shagging her. McKenzie Lee is the standout of the film,
incomparably beautiful and sexy in merrywidow lingerie, enthusiastically
and messily taking on two men in a wonderful variety of positions,
culminating in a passionate double penetration. Sue Diamond joins Brea
Bennett for a girl-girl scene, which is perfectly watchable, but doesn't
reach the heights of earlier scenes. Hilary Scott and Mika Tan finish
things off with a girl-girl-boy threeway, with a rough blowjob for Mika
and fantastic anal with Hilary. It's a stylish, sexy film, and if the
directorial flourishes are sometimes distracting, they don't ultimately
detract from the very real hotness revealed here. Extras include an

movies we've seen in a long, long time. Beautifully filmed, heavy on the
atmosphere, with expert camerawork and lighting that often moves past
mere skill into real artistry, Dark Garden has an elegant,
smoky cinematic style that's a strong sensual pleasure to watch. Set in
a Bladerunner-esque retro-future world of opulence and corruption, the
story centers on a drug-like implant that creates a hallucinatory
total-sensory experience directly in the user's brain (a la
Brainstorm or Johnny Mnemonic). With gorgeous performers
of both genders, the sex is stylish and graceful, while maintaining
quite a bit of heat — the scene with Julie Ashton and Julian is
particularly noteworthy, gorgeous and passionate, and Nikita and Lisa
Belle are beautifully androgynous (and very hot) in their girl-girl
scene. The story is interesting (if a bit pretentious), the music is
quite listenable, and the costumes are first-rate, classy and elegant —
a refreshing change from the tacky glitz that typically adorns porn
actors. Great for couples who want porn that's explicit without being
tacky. A class act all around (and winner of AVN's Best Video award for

Fantasy Chamber

A marvelous film from Cameron Grant, director of Erotic
Visions and The Dinner Party (two of our favorite
and most popular videos). Another of his series-of-fantasy-vignettes
videos, this one takes place entirely inside the mind of a woman
immersed in a sensory-deprivation chamber (or does it...?). Like Grant's
other work, Fantasy Chamber combines both high production
values and intense, nasty sex; the sex in this one is definitely on the
nasty side, with a hefty dose of buttfucking and a higher-than-average
dose of kink — kink that is both classier and more genuine-feeling than
is usual in most porn movies. The scenarios are imaginative (this
reviewer's girlfriend was particularly impressed with the latex-lesbian
three-way which won the AVN award for Best All-Girl Sex Scene), the
camerawork is beautiful, the costumes kick butt, and the performers are
quite attractive and seem genuinely engaged with what they're doing.
Nikole Lace is especially yummy and makes fabulous sex-noises. Highly

Jenna's Provocateur: Sophia Rossi

Jenna Jameson is a legend in the business, and one of the only porn
stars to become a household name even in mainstream media, so you might
worry that her move to directing might be mere gimmickry, using her
famous name to draw attention to a mediocre movie. Quite the contrary.
Jameson is just as good behind the camera as she is in front of it,
maybe even better, and she's created one of the hottest and beautifully
designed films this reviewer has ever seen. There hasn't been a porn
flick with this much attention to costuming and design since
Fashionistas, though Provocateur is blessedly
unburdened by plot, and lives up to its "couture film" subtitle. Most of
the performers wear several costumes before becoming undressed, from
corsets to gowns to lingerie to weirder things (lace chaps, anyone?),
and the sets are lavish, opulent, and beautifully designed, a welcome
change from the "digital video camera in a hotel room" school of erotic
cinema. Even the soundtrack rocks. The attention to detail is
astonishing.
Jameson knows what viewers like, and she's tried to
include something for everyone. Want to see a luscious brunette
gangbanged by three guys in tuxedos? Check. A well-endowed blonde riding
a Monkey Rocker sex machine before fucking the old
fashioned way? Got it. Two women passionately kissing before one fucks
the other up the ass with a strap-on? You're in luck. Tender sex? Sure
thing. Rough sex? That too. Women having oral sex on the back of a
mechanical bull? (Okay, that one's a little odd, but it's still hot,
lace chaps and
all.)
This film has the look of high gloss — it's shot on film, with
costuming better than many mainstream movies — but the tone is pure,
delightful smut. Jameson indulges in a few too many directorial
flourishes at the beginning and end of scenes, with color filters, weird
lighting, wind machines, quick-cuts, and double exposures, but her
camerawork mostly settles down for the important parts, and the action
is fantastic. McKenzie Lee's gangbang scene, which opens the film, is
the best, followed closely by the final girl-on-girl scene with newcomer
Chanel St. James and McKenzie again, but everything in between is great,
too. As if that's not enough, there's a bonus disc with
behind-the-scenes footage, a photo gallery, and various trailers. Don't
miss this, but be warned — it could make other porn pale by
comparison.

superbly shot, featuring some breathtakingly beautiful women. The first
two scenes have a BDSM-lite quality with the trappings of human pony
play, featuring hot brunettes wearing bits and bridles and even pulling
carts for their whip-wielding masters. The first scene is girl-girl, and
after a bit of groping with the bondage headgear in place, the leather
gets tossed aside and things settle down to standard girl-girl, but it's
still hot. There's more pony play up next with Veronica Jett and Celeste
Star in harness for Reno, who rides into the scene on actual horseback
looking like an over-buffed romance novel cover, but after they pull his
cart around the paddock for a bit they settle down to a good old
fashioned three-way, with a nice double blow job and some
riding-crop-handle-in-the-ass-action. Chanel St. James is up next
wearing lingerie that appears to be made out of eviscerated purses, with
lots of buckles and leather, but it's sexy, even though she winds up
fucking a guy on the seat of a fork lift and has very scary French
fingernails. Scary fingernails are again in evidence in the next scene,
a fashion photo shoot with a hot blonde that goes pretty much where
you'd expect it to... though it's patently gay-for-pay, the slow kissing
is actually hot anyway, and there are more glass toys, which always
serve to make a scene more classy. The director seemed to run out of
ideas for the next scene — it's just a girl in a dress fucking a sweaty
guy in a room — but he returns to weird conceptualization for the final
pairing, with Latina Lela Star climbing into a stagecoach to fuck a
cowpoke. The action is quite hot overall, and the production values are
stellar. The bonus features includes two solo masturbation scenes and
about 20 minutes of outtakes culled from all the scenes, plus the usual
behind-the-scenes footage and trailers. This one is glossy, exceedingly
well made, and just weird enough to be interesting. (2007, 120 min.)

Seduction, starring jessica drake, is another artful and
stylish blend of porn and fashion from director Laurent Sky. The talent
is top-notch, and the scenes are elaborately staged with unusual
lighting and other effects, often like sexually-explicit music videos.
jessica provides voiceover narration, introducing the scenes — talking
about how thoroughly she lusts after the lean and luscious Alektra Blue,
say — before following through on her promises. The film begins with a
hot blonde-on-brunette girl-girl scene between jessica and Alektra, with
ample toy play. Other highlights include blonde Eve Nicholson and Danny
Mountain in a scene with futuristic set design, but the emphasis is on
good-old-fashioned fucking, culminating in some fine anal. They're
outdone by the final scene, with the lovely European Nika Noir fucking
Jerry so passionately you'd think it was a real date; her uninhibited
naturalness makes a fine contrast with the polished glossiness of the
production as a whole. Sky's signature style makes this a compelling
sexual vision, combining the fine art of the tease with the final

Way of the Dragon

This has about as much to do with anything in Asia as The
Mikado has to do with Japan (that is to say, not much except nice
costumes and sets... really quite lovely ones, in the case of this movie).
That being said, it's a great
movie.
Celeste creates a series of beautifully-shot, wordless
vignettes, all moving slowly and stylishly (indeed, it reminds us just a
bit of Kabuki in that regard). Some are girl/girl/boy, some are
girl/girl, some are just girl, but they all move at a dreamy, delicate
pace, nothing like the slam-slam-slam style so popular these days. The
videography and art design are gorgeous, sometimes stunning. Although
it's not really a "bondage" movie, there's fair amount of very
attractive rope bondage, too, and one scene with an actress lashed to a
post that's definitely a bit more extreme than we've seen in mainstream
porn for a
while.
And if AVN creates a "Best and Most Thorough Use of
Chopsticks" award, this is a
shoo-in.
All of the scenes are worth watching, repeatedly, at great
length. The performers are very attractive, both male and female, and
there's a lot more female wetness than we usually seen in a mainstream
porn
movie.
If you are looking for something as interesting and beautiful
as a Michael Ninn movie, without Ninn's frenetic editing or sense of
cool reserve, Celeste (and this movie) are the movies for you. (2005,
100 min.)

Zazel Collector's Edition
Gorgeous, exotic, imaginative, exquisitely well-made... what other
extravagant words of praise can we lavish on this video? A series of
fantastical vignettes taking place in the mind of a beautiful artist,
Zazel has a lush, surreal, other-worldly quality to it,
with an inventive eye and a slow, sensual pace. Reaching beyond your
usual high production values into real artistry, the movie has some
truly stunning work with body paint and costuming, marvelous effects
with color and light, and camerawork with a real eye for composition.
(It does slip over into pretentious silliness now and then, but we like
the movie enough to let that slide.) Clearly a labor of love, it is
unlike any porn movie we've seen — which, in this industry, is high
praise indeed. Winner of the 1997 AVN awards for Best Group Sex Scene,
Best All-Sex Film, Best Art Direction, and Best
Cinematography!
This 2-disc Collector's Edition has a photo gallery,
trailers, bonus scenes, cast bios and a sneak peek at Zazel 2. It has
been remastered in HD widescreen, but it also works just fine on regular
