angel wings (and not much else) was hot, if a little too
music-video-style with all the camera effects, filters, and quick edits.
This is an epic hardcore high-gloss production with a plot (including
alternate endings, so you can play God!), and at its best, it's simply
heavenly. It's worth getting this deluxe edition for all the extra
goodies,
too.

Spain. Director Erika Lust is adept at drawing them out, getting them to

Pirates 2: Stagnetti's Revenge is a big-budget epic with
lots of special effects, lavish sets, an enjoyable pulp fiction

Icon stars Hillary Scott as a bratty, snarky version of
herself working for a prima-donna version of her actual director, Eli
Cross. It's a funny movie about making porn movies, and the sharp
writing takes lots of amusing potshots at the industry, and it's good to
see them willing to laugh at themselves as much as they mock their
competitors. Best of all, Icon serves up three full hours of hardcore
sex, usually group sex, often kinky group sex, with all the ass-fucking
one would expect from reigning anal princess Hillary Scott (and from
most of the other lovely women as well, including Trina Michaels, Amber
Rayne, and Jennifer Dark, yum). There are two long orgy scenes,
one set in a fetish dungeon with eight people involved (though Hillary
is locked in a cage, forced to watch without participating). Hillary is
absolutely involved in the climactic seven-way orgy that ends the film,
though, and she's used thoroughly, to her vocal delight. Icon combines
excellent production values with edgy gonzo sex (there's even double

during a particularly acrobatic cheer. Penny Flame, who hilariously
plays a rather sex-crazed angel, informs Debbie that she's dead, but
Debbie has unfinished business, so she makes a deal to trade sexual
favors in the afterlife for a return ticket to Earth. The resulting
angelic orgy — on a set featuring a vintage convertible and pools of
water — is both very hot and very weird, with amazing rough sex with
Penny and Debbie and Evan Stone. Debbie returns to Earth... but not in her
own body. She has to steal the body of suicidal geek Hillary Scott, and
win her way back onto the cheerleading squad without revealing her true
identity. The bits with Hillary and her blatantly cheating boyfriend
Marty Romano are hilarious, especially when she walks in to find him
dressed up in a cheerleader outfit — the movie's full of bizarre, funny
little details like that.
Naturally, the reincarnation of Debbie takes over the cheerleading
squad, leads them to the finals... and then there's an actual plot twist
that you may not even see coming. The movie's full of good sex scenes
and tons of scantily-clad eye candy, including everything you'd expect
from a cheerleader porno, including erotic exercise routines and
locker-room lesbianism. Plus all the weird stuff — a blowjob in a
coffin, angels in undisguised fake wings and halos shagging against
pillars, even some play with candle wax (not a traditional part of
cheerleader porn). The extras are epic — this is a three-disc set, and
includes the entire original Debbie Does Dallas, plus tons of

In Search of the Wild Kingdom is from indie auteur Shine
Louise Houston, whose earlier releases The Crash Pad and
Superfreak garnered her accolades from feminist porn fans

Search of the Wild Kingdom is a tour-de-force of lesbian sex,

This is the pure product. There are no gay-for-pay bottle blondes with

kissing here — except in a brief, hilarious scene that parodies such

The basic premise is clever and used to very funny effect. A
documentary film crew follows around another documentary film
crew as they attempt to film the mating habits of San Francisco
lesbians. So In Search of the Wild Kingdom is a (fake)
documentary about a (fake) documentary about (real) lesbians.
(Follow all that?) Imagine one of those National Geographic programs,
with cameras watching lions from the distance, only instead of lions,
they're watching lesbians. The fundamental joke is that the people
having sex don't notice the camera crew in their apartment or in the
bar, and there's a really funny bit of business with a "decoy lesbian,"
a mannequin dressed up and sent out to attract the natives. All that's
cute and innovative, but what about the sex? This is a film made by and
for lesbians, but given the tastes of most heterosexual men, they're
likely to enjoy this, too, and it might even dispel some silly
misconceptions about how women have sex. (Short answer: they have sex in
all sorts of awesome ways.) The sex scenes are often really
intense, especially a long three-way with two women wearing strap-ons.
The most important thing: this is real fucking, messy, gasping,

world, bursts in, she's appalled at the action, and she and Jewell have
a spirited debate about whether bondage is more suited to function or

social tea, which soon moves into the realm of rope bondage and vintage
'50s underwear! Soon Satine is all tied up, and Chanta gets to work on
her with a (thankfully anachronistic) vibrator. We return to Jewell and
Madison, who've taken their fun outside, where Madison is pressed into
service as a human clothesline, suspended sideways in a net of ropes.
It's not long before the clothespins come out, of course. Madison is hit
with a riding crop, doused with cold water, and generally abused for
Jewell's amusement.... but comeuppance always comes. Bridgett arrives and
takes charge of Jewell, wrapping her in ropes and chastising her
verbally and otherwise, at one point making her into a living watering
can. By the end of the film, Madison is transformed into a human
footstool, Jewell is made into a living TV stand-cum-drink holder, and
all is right with the world. This is weird, whimsical, smart BDSM,
highly
recommended.

Corruption

Corruption combines a compelling story, flawed characters,
high production values, and gonzo stunt-fucking in an epic tale of power
and, yes, corruption. The center of the film is the relationship between
Bryn Pryor (as ruthless Republican senator and presidential hopeful
David Walker Helms) and Hillary Scott (as his willing and eventually
ill-used fucktoy Natasha). There are a lot of plot twists, far too many
to enumerate, and the film is worth watching for the story alone. The
plot is driven mostly by the senator's wife (played with great sexiness
and charisma by Kylie Ireland), who tries to get rid of Natasha because
the senator keeps taking her out with him in public, and reporters are
beginning to suspect an affair. Of course, the truth is far more
depraved than a mere affair, with Natasha tormented for the senator's
amusement, used to seduce and blackmail political rivals, and constantly
defiled, to her own great
delight.
Most of the sex scenes — which are long, involved,
emotional, and indescribably raunchy — serve the story, revealing things
about characters and driving the plot. All the gonzo stops are pulled
out, with gangbangs, double vaginal penetration, double anal, slapping,
spitting, bondage, choking blowjobs, dirty talk, and more, but it all
makes perfect sense for the characters, who are desperate to feel
anything real, and who seek ever more extreme sexual outlets for their
frustration and rage. Only the final orgy scene is a disappointment —
it's meant to highlight the senator's loneliness and desolation as he
sits alone in the midst of depraved acts of sport-fucking, and that
works, but there's a hollowness to the by-the-numbers orgy that's
disappointing after the intensity of the other scenes. Still, even with
that low point, there's still 3 hours and 40 minutes of great
sex-and-story here, which should be enough for
anybody.
There are tons of extras, including a good director's
commentary, lots of behind-the-scenes footage, an extended blowjob
scene, a big photo gallery, trailers, etc. Altogether a great
value.

Island Fever 4

Island Fever 4 is a sumptuous feast for the eyes, a
testament to the power of natural beauty — said natural beauty being the
islands of Bora Bora and the Bahamas where the film was shot, of course,

computer-generated, too.) This is clearly the big movie for Digital
Playground for last year, and the production values are high. There are
almost twenty scenes, ranging from brief tease shots of women frolicking

movie — a four-way orgy with Jana Cova, Teagan Presley, Jesse Jane, and
Sophia Santi. It's a luscious scene, with all four women showing
tremendous enthusiasm, and it rightly won the AVN Award for Best
All-Girl Sex Scene. Most of the scenes are great — is there anything
more lovely to look at than beautiful people making love on tropical
islands? Plus, there's lots of it, over three hours of film on two
discs, plus a bonus disc heaped with
extras.
There's no vocal track, so you never hear a human voice or
the sound of bodies coming together in the course of the film. The
soundtrack varies between sort of boring instrumental music and more
interesting Polynesian-style drumming, and there are lots of quick cuts
and some camera effects — the overall impression is of a slick,
sexually-explicit music video, and this is an exemplar of that style.
The extras include a very impressive selection of behind-the-scenes
footage, a funny short film (Crazy Evan's Island Movie) featuring Evan
Stone hamming it up like a lunatic, some bloopers, tons of photos, and
about thirty trailers. Overall this is a very impressive package. Don't
be afraid to catch the fever. (2006, 200 min.)

Sex Pix combines raunchy sex with an engaging plot and
pretty good acting, making it one of the best films in recent memory.
Cheryl (Sunny Lane) wakes up in a messy room with a head wound, with no
memory of who she is or where she is or why she's mostly naked, with
only an angry naked bandaged cowboy for company (played by Evan Stone,
in a role that won him an AVN Award for best actor). She discovers a
pile of Polaroid photos of herself engaged in various sex acts, which
disturbs her. When she tries to find out what's going on, the cowboy
gets furious and hits her, she breaks a bottle and stabs him in the
neck, and he dies. And that's just the beginning — or, more accurately,
the end. The film proceeds in a series of flashbacks in reverse
chronological order, running back through the past couple of days to
gradually reveal who the angry naked cowboy is, who Cheryl really is,
and how she lost her memory. (Yes, the gimmick is stolen from the movie
Memento, but it's put to original use
here.)
Red Light District is known for its hardcore, sometimes gonzo
and over-the-top, movies, and they combine that rough-riding aesthetic
with a feature-film plot to great effect here. Put simply, the sex is
incredibly hot. Sunny Lane excels in all her scenes, and she can play
innocent amnesiac or experienced sex kitten with equal aplomb. The big
orgy scene — featuring three guys and six women — looks fun and
spontaneous, with lots of partner-swapping and stunt-fucking, and
Hillary Scott's anal scenes are amazing. Alektra Blue and Tyla Wynn do a
wet and wonderful girl-on-girl shower scene in a fetish club, and then
some guys join in, and it gets even better. There are half a dozen long
scenes, ranging from over-the-top action to a dungeon fetish scene to a
rather sweet scene between Kurt Lockwood and Sunny. Overall, this is a
raunchy movie — there's hard anal, ATM, dp, cum-swapping, rough
blowjobs, the whole shebang — but everyone involved seems to be
seriously into it. Highly

Jenna Jameson is a legend in the business, and one of the only porn
stars to become a household name even in mainstream media, so you might
worry that her move to directing might be mere gimmickry, using her
famous name to draw attention to a mediocre movie. Quite the contrary.
Jameson is just as good behind the camera as she is in front of it,
maybe even better, and she's created one of the hottest and beautifully
designed films this reviewer has ever seen. There hasn't been a porn
flick with this much attention to costuming and design since
Fashionistas, though Provocateur is blessedly
unburdened by plot, and lives up to its "couture film" subtitle. Most of
the performers wear several costumes before becoming undressed, from
corsets to gowns to lingerie to weirder things (lace chaps, anyone?),
and the sets are lavish, opulent, and beautifully designed, a welcome
change from the "digital video camera in a hotel room" school of erotic
cinema. Even the soundtrack rocks. The attention to detail is
astonishing.
Jameson knows what viewers like, and she's tried to
include something for everyone. Want to see a luscious brunette
gangbanged by three guys in tuxedos? Check. A well-endowed blonde riding
a Monkey Rocker sex machine before fucking the old
fashioned way? Got it. Two women passionately kissing before one fucks
the other up the ass with a strap-on? You're in luck. Tender sex? Sure
thing. Rough sex? That too. Women having oral sex on the back of a
mechanical bull? (Okay, that one's a little odd, but it's still hot,
lace chaps and
all.)
This film has the look of high gloss — it's shot on film, with
costuming better than many mainstream movies — but the tone is pure,
delightful smut. Jameson indulges in a few too many directorial
flourishes at the beginning and end of scenes, with color filters, weird
lighting, wind machines, quick-cuts, and double exposures, but her
camerawork mostly settles down for the important parts, and the action
is fantastic. McKenzie Lee's gangbang scene, which opens the film, is
the best, followed closely by the final girl-on-girl scene with newcomer
Chanel St. James and McKenzie again, but everything in between is great,
too. As if that's not enough, there's a bonus disc with
behind-the-scenes footage, a photo gallery, and various trailers. Don't
miss this, but be warned — it could make other porn pale by
comparison.

because of course they are real people. But just for the record, they

This is a very good porn movie. The budget was huge, the special effects
are pretty good (superb by porn-movie standards), and the sex is really,
really hot. The reason we hesitated for so long in carrying it is that
clearly aspires to be more than that: It wants to be a Real Movie, and
to be one of those porn movies that flies from the lower plutonian
depths of Porn to the high pure air of Cinema. It's not all
that.
But it's a great, rousing and arousing porn flick. Janine is
very hot (and does a great acting job) as the pirate princess who is
starting to doubt. Jesse Jane and Carmen Luvana are as hot as always.
Evan Stone chews the scenery with relish. Steven St. Croix chews the
scenery with ketchup. Tommy Gun... well, nice sneer, kiddo. The skeletons
are great, the ship exteriors not so
much.
You get a really beautiful package, with a three disk set,
including an extra disk with the HD-DVD version that should play
beautifully on your HD-DVD player and
television.
You can, of course, play the main feature disk on any DVD
player.
So, no, this is not the cross-over hit that Digital
Playground wishes it was, but it's a great porn flick... and really, why
ask any more than
that?

production quality is lovely and excellent. The Seven Deadly
Sins is rather more sensual and sexual than some of Maria
Beatty's other movies (it even includes a bit of finger-fucking), and
the play is a bit less extreme as well — but don't worry, that just
means there's no knives or enemas or fire. It does have bondage, foot
worship, spanking, flogging, nipple torment (including some very cool

Beautiful photography, beautiful actors, and a beautiful plot... what more
can you want from a porn movie? The plot's a good western one: A
rancher's daughter sweeps into her father's spread, looking to sell out
and cash in. The hands actually doing the work don't much take to that
idea... but just how far are they willing to go to stop
it?
The production values are great (it was shot on HD, and
well-rewards a huge monitor), the acting is good, and the script isn't
just a way to get from one sex scene to another. The sex has the usual
set of porn conventions (some anal, some facials), but it's also often
lovemaking rather than just fucking. And with three disks, this could be
the excuse you've needed to get a multidisk DVD
changer.
It won a bunch of 2004 AVN Awards, including Best Video
Feature (in a tie with Beautiful), Best High-Definition
Production, Best Supporting Actress/Video (Brooke Ballentyne), Best

performance by Randy Spears as an android. Blue-skinned alien women
having sex with Evan Stone. Lots and lots of sex of all kinds, in
fact.
The usually completely-dopey "multiple angle" feature is put to
very good use here: you can see a live commentary track on the main
disk. And it comes with an entire DVD-worth of extras: Tons of
"making-of" things (casting call, cold readings, etc., etc.), etc., etc.
It's a seriously hefty
package.

This one centers on Selena and Laura Palmer, who receive a magic pendant
that brings out their deepest
fantasies.
Highly recommended to anyone who has enjoyed Blake's®
previous work. He also seems to be getting a bit more erotic and
raunchy, which is (in this Blowfishie's opinion) a good thing. This one
includes some of our favorite actresses, including Asia Carrera. Winner

Bill and Desiree: Love is Timeless
Bill and Desiree: Love Is Timeless is a documentary that
tells the true story of two older people who met, fell in lust, and then
fell in love (without giving up the lust). Director Tony Comstock
specializes in films about real couples and true love, asking people to
talk about their relationships, how they met, and what their sex lives
are like. The story here is sweet and funny — they first met at a
clothing-optional event, where he was rendered breathless and captivated
by the beauty of her vagina, basically — and the two have a chemistry
and rapport that's beautiful and heartening to behold. The second half
of the film shows them making love, and though they're well into middle
age, that doesn't dampen their enthusiasm or adventurousness (she even
wears a Feedoe dildo, which he sucks). It's a lovely, sexy,
life-affirming film, and should give everyone watching hope for finding
or keeping love in the latter half of life.
