Back in the dim time when dinosaurs roamed the earth, adult movies were actually movies shot on film and shown in disreputable movie houses. Back then, one of adult's goddesses was Seka, a platinum-haired beauty who just radiated cool glamour.

A Swedish journalist and Seka fan decided to track her down and get an interview. The result was this funny, touching, and fascinating documentary as he navigates the modern world of adult. He interviews Jane Hamilton, Peter North, Serenity, Nina Hartley, Randy West, Al Goldstein and many others to find out where Seka is hiding, what the adult business was like the 70s, and what changed.

And, yes, he finds her, and gets his interview. A happy ending! (2004, 52 min.)

Kinsey
Bill Condon
No matter what you think of him, Alfred Kinsey was the father of us all in this business. By approaching human sexual behavior as a legitimate research topic, he did more than any other single person to start the sexual revolution. It's hard to remember just how taboo talking about sex was, and how much misinformation circulated freely as fact, before Kinsey came along.

Condon's movie about him is great. Neeson is superb as Kinsey, a man who seems constantly bewildered by the forces he has unleased both in the world and in his own life. Laura Linney was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role as his wife, and she deserved it.

The DVD includes a full-length audio commentary by (writer/director) Condon. (2004, 118 min.)
