Note that this is a new motor design that the manufacturers say is 40% more powerful than their previous motor design. We don't know if it's precisely 40% more powerful, but we do know that the lowest setting is about the same as the middle setting on the old motor, the middle about the same as the high on the old motor, and the high is more powerful than the high of the old style.

Comes with five attachments. On the far left you have the Grapes and Cockscomb attachment which has one surface that's narrow and ridged and the other surface with a bumpy texture. Next, you have the Ball and Cup attachment (shown on the toy in the top photo), one side of which is smoothly concave, the other side of which has a few nodules. Then, the French Legionnaire's Moustache, which features two clusters of soft fibers for soft, sensual tickling (yes, it looks silly, but it feels good). Then, the new Golden Spoon attachment. And, finally, you have the Seven Pearls of the Orient for internal use.

The six (2-1/8" x 3") oval attachments for the Essential include (from left to right, top to bottom below) a slightly padded slightly raised piece that our tester liked best for both clit and wider vulva vibration, a flat piece with slightly raised bumps that was also good for clit/vulva vibration, an infrared heating dome, a piece with a foam insert for applying lotions and oils, a scalp massager, and a double shiatsu head that was fun for simultaneous clit and perineum stimulation (of course, we can't guarantee it'll reach properly on anyone else's body). There's also the "acupressure and pressure point" attachment that's shown on the massager in the top photo; that works nicely for direct clit stimulation. Do note, the post on the Essential is larger than that of the Wahl; the Wahl-Style Vibrator Attachments will not fit on this vibrator.

The Essential has low and high settings, which our tester found were just about the same strength as the current Wahl design. By the way, we also used this for sore back massage and liked it for that too. Please use caution using the infrared disc -- make sure you're constantly keeping it moving and be very conscious of how much you're heating up. You do not want to burn your tender pink bits!

Other than being a oh-so-cool green and clear marbled color, the Gee Wizard has a longer cock (5") with a smooth belly and minor bloops for sensation while thrusting. The thickest bloop near the base is 1-1/2" and decrease mildly in size as the tip gets closer. Also, the back of the cup-shaped head has neat bumpies on it for some extra stimulation when using it to rub directly against your skin. While the shape of the shaft curves up for G-spot rubbing, the silicone is bendable enough that we would not classify this toy as being specifically intended for G-spot play. We would, however, recommend trying this attachment out as a super-vibing butt toy! This hand-held wand-vibe is quite similar to the Hitachi in terms of intensity and volume, but this versatile massager is rechargeable and cordless (or rather, it plugs in to the wall to charge with the included charger and can then be removed from the cord for use). A fully charged Ideal Rechargeable Vibrator will run on high speed for almost two-hours without losing any of its impressive strength. Heck, we haven't lasted that long between the sheets since college! (The battery, for those in the know, is a NI-MH rechargeable - we are told this is a very good battery by customers who claim to know about these sorts of things. From what we can tell, they are right on the money!)

Advancing the standard wand design, the Ideal Rechargeable Vibrator's ergonomic handle is built at a curve making it far easier than ever before to get the head of the toy down between two bodies, not to mention easier to hold on to for longer play sessions (regardless of whether you are right or left handed).
