Purple velvet is used for the harness base, which is both soft and slightly padded for your comfort. The nylon webbing straps are adjustable, accommodating up to 50" hips. It comes with a 1-1/2" O-ring that can be replaced if you wish to use the harness with larger dildos. And the clever designers of this harness included a small pocket at the top of the base into which you can slip a One-Touch Mini Bullet (included, with batteries; do note we won't guarantee the batteries will be any good, since we don't know how long they've been in storage). The Bend Over Beginner Harness Kit comes with two basic silicone dildos; the Small Silk (4-1/4" insertable length and 13/16" wide; pictured in harness above and on the right in the lower photo) and the Medium Silk (5-1/4" insertable length and 1-3/16" wide; pictured left in the lower photo), both in a shimmering light blue/purple (called Purple Haze) that complements the purple velvet of the harness beautifully. Made entirely from vegan materials (mostly silky soft polyester and spandex), the Jacques (or "Joque" as the manufacturer calls it) can be used by just about anyone, regardless of gender or body type. The crotch piece is soft and malleable, made from materials comfier than any lingerie we've ever felt, and it has two nifty properties. First off, the O-ring fixed into the fabric stretches from 1-1/2" to 2" so dildos approximately 1-1/4" through 2" thick (with a flat base) should work with this set-up. Additionally, the fabric that sits between the wearer's body and the dildo base is sewn in such a way that it can be pulled out of the way (think: similar to the crotch hole in men's briefs) and allow a double dildo through! We found this harness worked really well with both the Feeldoe as well as the Nexus double dildos we sell. Fabulous!

But the good doesn't stop there. If you've played with harnesses before you've probably had to deal with the flapping ends of adjustable straps hanging willy nilly from your hips and butt. The Jacques solves the flappy-strap problem ingeniously, using bra-strap-like sliders on the leg adjusters and a strong fold-over Velcro waist band that keeps the belt perfectly adjusted for the hips of the wearer. Fine-tune tighteners on the sides of the hips keep the harness snug to the body, requiring no shimmying around or in-the-dark fumbling to get all of the parts on just right. Just step in, fold it to the right size, and you are set to go! You could also drop a small vibrating bullet into the crotch piece (since the double-sidedness forms a pocket of sorts) if you wanted to make things vibrate a little, or you could use this as a lovely way to hold up a soft pack under your clothes.

Our testers said this was the most comfortable harness they've ever worn, high praise from our crew who've tried just about everything on the market. A few technical notes: wash before use (if you can wait that long) to set the dye in the fabric, machine washable (secure the Velcro first) on delicate cycle, do not use with oil-based lube, made in the USA. Comes in a nice black cardboard box, which you can use to store the harness in. We sell the Jacques in two sizes. Size A fits waists 20"-50" inches and has leg straps that adjust from 10" to 16"; Size B fits waists 35"-65" and has leg straps that adjust from 14" to 24."
