While the manufacturer refers to the head portion as an "Orgasmic Clitoral Encaser," we think it makes an eye-rolling G-spot vibe as well. All of the high-frequency vibrations are concentrated at the tip thus, if slipped inside, one can focus all of Clit Exciter's excitement internally. The head even angles up to give the G-spot all sorts of extra lovin'. It makes a great couple's toy, too, as it is slim enough to easily work its way between tightly pressed bodies. This purple jelly Dreamboat is shaped a bit like a thumb in a rowboat, the thumb portion measuring 1-1/2" at the widest point and 2-1/2" long. And, it's made of 100% elastomer, a phthalate-free, latex-free material. When used vaginally, the insertable bulb positions one end of the "rowboat" right up against the perineum for some stern (as in "opposed to bow", not as in "firm discipline", though that's fun too) side tickling and the front of the boat (aka the bow) comes just shy of hitting the clitoris on most women. If you want to stick this toy up your butt, we recommend using a condom over the bulb as the jelly material is porous and not easy to clean. The vibrations are extremely quiet and the controls on the base have three settings: on (a constant medium-high buzz), off, or "at the mercy of the remote-control" (which is matchbook-sized with key-chain hook). The remote control has three increasing speeds of vibration, then goes into a series of pulsation patterns. Note that the controller actually doesn't have any way to know what speed or pattern the vibe is on, so this is an extra-sneaky little vibe.

When it comes right down to it, the only disappointing aspect of the Dreamboat's performance is that it struggles to vibrate effectively from a distance when inserted. The human body, being mostly water, blocks most electrical frequencies put out by remote devices. While the Dreamboat does work remotely at short range when inserted into the body, ducking around a corner or moving too far away from the controller will halt the vibrations. It makes a terrific "outie vibe" for hand held pleasure whether being controlled by a lover watching TV across the house, under the dinner table at a fancy restaurant, or manipulated with your own hands. The Girdle takes 2 AA batteries (included, though we can't guarantee they're any good; we also sell replacements) and is controlled by a single button in the cap, which can be a little fiddly to put on straight. Once the lid is on correctly, the toy is splash proof, but not waterproof, so you can use it in the shower and washing it is easy, but do not submerge it. Press and hold the button to turn it on or off, then once it's on, press to change the settings. It has 5 settings, a low thrum, a medium thrum/pulse, and fast buzz, a fast ramp up, and a multiple pulse plus ramping, all of which are relatively quiet. Our tester enjoyed all of the settings for different sensations, but found the latter setting particularly nice for setting the pace of moving the toy in and out during insertion play.
