Earthy and erotic, rattan wood looks innocent and playful but thuds with an intensity that marks and bruises flesh well below the surface. The material is flexible and strong so the wielder can pack a powerful wallop without being thrown off balance or expending too much energy; for that reason we recommend being extra conscious of how hard you are swinging it! This cane is about 30" long and 1/2" thick. (The handle crook varies some with each piece, so don't quote us on the size.)

Rattan looks a bit like rough bamboo and bends with minimal pressure (thus please do not try to use it as a leaning cane - it won't work), and it comes un-shined and unfinished so expect rough ends. Because the material is dry, it benefits from a short soak in water every now and again to keep the wood from getting too dehydrated. If you have never played with canes before, practicing on a pillow before bruising your partner's backside could save your relationship. A very heavy-duty toy -- we recommend canes for experienced players only.
