Silicone-based lubes are the new kids on the lube block. They are very slippery, and last a long time compared to water-based lubes. They are a bit more complicated to clean up, and there is some evidence that they can damage silicone toys (see our Buying Guide on Lube Interactions for full details). They are 100% latex-safe, so they can be used with whatever latex condom suits your fancy, and they're also great for masturbation.

	BodyFluid Silicone-based lubes are one of the best things to happen to lubes since, well... since lube. Tasteless, (mostly) odorless, latex-safe, and very slippery, they are also somewhat water-resistant (great for those romps in the shower!), and they do not get sticky as they dry out. BodyFluid is another great entrant in the grand pageant of silicone lubes. To our tester, it seemed just a bit more fluid and slippier than the other silicone lubes, and it has a very light, very pleasantly clean smell. Silicone lubes are not cheap, but in lubes, as in all things, you get what you pay for. As with all silicone lubes, silicone toys can get damaged by prolonged contact with BodyFluid. 	Eros Bodyglide We've gotten a lot of requests for this product, and as always, we live to serve. So here it is -- the high-end, ultra-slick, silicone-based lube, Eros Bodyglide. We'll be totally honest. This is an excellent product -- it's so slippery that it's almost scary, and it stays slippery for a glacial age. But in our own personal Blowfishie opinion, we can't find any appreciable difference between Eros Bodyglide and Wet Platinum Premium Body Glide (a very similar super-slippery, super-long-lasting, silicone-based lube), and Wet Platinum Premium Body Glide is a whole lot cheaper. However, there are people who disagree with us and who think Eros Bodyglide is the greatest thing since buttered popcorn. So if you're one of those people, or if you've heard about the product and want to find out what it's like for yourself, we're very happy to make it available. Note: Silicone-based lubes such as Eros Bodyglide may damage silicone toys. We therefore recommend that you do not use this product in conjunction with silicone sex toys. 	Wet Platinum Premium Body Glide There are approximately eighty zillion lubes on the market, and sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between them all. Wet Platinum Premium Body Glide, however, is genuinely different, and we like it a lot. It stays very slippery for a verrrrrrrry long time, much longer than pretty much any other lube we've found. The manufacturers have completely removed any added water from their formulation process -- it's all just lubricating stuff -- so there's no water to evaporate and it doesn't lose its slipperiness. Latex-safe, of course. Now available in a huge 16.4oz bottle with a pump top for the true believers. In case you're wondering, this is the new formulation for what used to be called just Wet Platinum. We don't know why they changed it, and we can't really tell a difference in use between the old formula and this one. Note: Silicone-based lubes such as Wet Platinum Premium Body Glide may damage silicone toys. We therefore recommend that you do not use this product in conjunction with silicone sex toys.
