While sexually transmitted viruses are often extremely fragile outside of the body (meaning that they do not stay active long on toys or other surfaces), please be aware that cleaning agents do not kill viruses. In the long run, nothing beats scalding water (via a dish washer or pasta pot) to sterilize your playthings. However, if you are looking for something to provide a little extra protection against E. coli or other bacteria, this cleaner may be an easy way to keep on top of it.
