A very thorough instructional manual, very specifically on bondage. Lots
of SM how-to books discuss bondage, often at some length; but because
they're dealing with a zillion other SM-related issues, they don't have
the space to go into the extensive detail that this one particular — and
particularly popular — activity deserves. So if binding or being bound
is the thing you want to know about, here's the book you want. Written
for both novices and experienced players, it explains lots and lots and
lots of different bondage methods and techniques in thorough
detail, with good, clear illustrations. And it addresses several issues
about bondage in general, including extensive information about safety.
The writing style is occasionally annoying, but is mostly okay. (2000,

Carrie's Story is extremely well-written for an SM novel —
the protagonist is strikingly intelligent, the story is genuinely
interesting and the wonderfully smutty scenes sizzle off the page. The
main character, Carrie, is a bright, intensely intellectual college
student who begins to explore SM and finds herself increasingly drawn
into a world of full-time submission and high-class sexual slavery. Yum.
Lots of butt-sex, bondage and even some pony-play means that there's
something here for anyone into the kinky side of sex. Definitely not
just another slave-girl fantasy. We carried this book a few years ago
and were very sad when it went out of print, as it was one of our most
popular books of all time. We're so excited that it's back in print once

Bondage Bar

a bit too hardcore, this Bondage Bar is a gentler version
of the same thing. Covered in fabric, with a wide, stiff bar holding

of O herself. The story: O is a photographer (in this case a fetish
photographer for a website) who plays sex games with her lover, Ray
(Tommy Gunn), who enjoys tying her up and cutting her clothes off and
generally dominating her, though in a very loving way. He convinces O to
go into temporary service at a house where beautiful, willing female
slaves get whipped and sexually satisfy male and female guests (the
house is not explicitly called Roissy in this version, and it's more a
nice California house than a French country mansion, but no matter). O
likes this deeper submission, and Ray tests her love for him by giving
her to his half-brother Stephen (Evan Stone), who is a much harsher
master than Ray — the other slaves first train O with a rather
impressive butt-plug so she can take Stephen's anal attentions. Stephen
takes ever more control of O's life, plays mind games with her, and even
enlists O into setting Ray up with another woman, a rather vapid fetish
model, so Stephen can have O to himself forever. Through it all, Carmen
Luvana plays O as cool, aloof, impossible to really break —
she's perfectly obedient, but always holds something of herself back.
That's the central, fascinating ambiguity of O as a literary character,
and the actress conveys it beautifully (though her acting is rather
wooden when she has to deliver lines). Tommy Gunn's performance as Ray
is wonderful — his love for O, tinged with sadness, comes through
clearly.
Nina Hartley (reputedly quite a BDSM aficionado in real
life) does the voiceover narration, and her husband Ernest Greene
directs. It's one of the more authentic-feeling BDSM movies ever made,
with good whip technique and plausible action — no half-hearted flogging
here! All the accoutrements are lovely; great collars, great whips,
great restraints, hot lingerie — yum. There's plenty of decent bondage
porn out there, but this is a cut above. It combines a classic story
with lush performances, a cast that seems to care about the product,
good production values, and — it must be said — Carmen Luvana's
astonishingly gorgeous
breasts.

same movie, at least in widely-available releases. These days the taboos
are evaporating, and Love Hurts features the trappings of

The first scene is an homage to Secretary, with
Rita Faltoyano appearing in the same sort of secretarial garb and
neck-and-arm restraints Maggie Gyllenhaal wore in that film. Her

her silly. The fourth scene is barely BDSM at all, with a
business-casual guy in a generic office setting sexually harassing Heidi
Mayne. The last scene is the most hardcore, and actually has a somewhat
genuine vibe, with Staci Thorn wearing a placard that reads "whore" and
serving as a human ashtray (don't worry, no cigarette burns—she just
wears a gag with an ashtray attached to it). She's the only one who
actually gets fucked while in any semblance of bondage, one of her two
masters screwing her while the other sits around smoking a cigarette,
ashing into the ashtray attached to her gag, and looking jaded for a
while. Then the gag comes off, and it's a nice three-way with some
vigorous double penetration. This is BDSM-lite, but it's good for what

Lascivious Liaisons is a classy, glossy film featuring
beautiful women in stunning lingerie, slow-motion effects and some
soft-focus camera work, no vocal track, and a classical-sounding score,
all hallmarks of a "couples" movie. The twist here is that all the
scenes have some element of BDSM, mostly of a very gentle sort — though
the BDSM doesn't look fake, as it does in many films, but like the sort
of playful experimentation lovers would use to spice things up in the

The cool, blonde, and lovely Jana Cova is the heart of the film,
appearing in most of the scenes, but her supporting cast is all
top-notch too. It's hard to choose a favorite from among the seven
scenes, as all have something impressive to offer, but highlights
include Lela Starr in a maid's outfit being chastised by Erik Everhard,
and the adorable Kinzie Kenner in a relatively straightforward but fun
scene with Jean Val Jean. Of the girl-girl scenes, the best has Jana
Cova tying Charlie Laine and Karlie Montana together back-to-back and
teasing them orally with a strap-on for a while, finally releasing them
for more hardcore fun. The scene with Jana and Holly Morgan starts
strongly, with Jana wielding a long whip (used mostly for oral play and
masturbation with the handle; this isn't the kind of movie with actual
whipping), but it sort of trailed off and ended a bit abruptly. The most
elegantly-shot moment of the film comes in the final scene, with the
incredibly cute Daisy Marie dressed in stockings and white lingerie,
stretched out over the knee of the black-clad Jana Cova, who spanks
Daisy's perfect ass with a paddle for a nice long while. It's a
beautiful moment captured beautifully.
With a running time approaching three hours, there's plenty to love
here, and there are lots of extras, too. It's a wonderful choice for

really have a plot, but it does have a situation: busty British hottie
